Guard Card

To obtain a California Guard Registration Card (commonly referred to as a "Guard Card"), security guards are required to complete a state-mandated training course. California law stipulates that all security guards must be licensed through the California Department of Consumer Affairs' Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
Before applying for a Guard Card, applicants must complete a required course that includes training in "Powers to Arrest" and "Appropriate Use of Force." To qualify for a Guard Card, applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Firearms permit

Our 2-day course offers comprehensive training encompassing lectures and practical weapons handling. Key topics include firearm possession and carrying laws, standards for the use of deadly force, strategies for avoiding lethal situations, de-escalation techniques, civil and criminal liability considerations, firearm nomenclature and maintenance, the fundamental rules of firearm safety, range safety, home firearms safety, and the essential elements of pistol marksmanship. The practical component involves hands-on weapons handling and qualification exercises per BSIS rules and regulations.
Firearms Renewals

Our training sessions start with a 2-hour lecture covering essential information and the latest BSIS rules and regulations. After the lecture, participants will take a test to evaluate their understanding of the material, followed by live fire re-qualification.
Re-qualifications are required every 4 to 6 months to comply with BSIS regulations. This structured approach ensures that participants maintain a high standard of proficiency and knowledge.

Initial Baton

Our training program includes thorough lectures, study materials, and a test to ensure participants understand the content. A practical exercise, where participants demonstrate the taught techniques using their chosen baton, is a requirement. The permit covers straight, side handle, fixed, and collapsible batons. Baton Renewal

Starting January 1st, 2024, Baton permits are no longer valid for a lifetime and must be renewed every two years.
